Feat; Oversized Two Weapon Fighting - has it been Deprecated?
Feat; Oversized Two Weapon Fighting - has it been Deprecated?
I like fighting with two weapons simultaneously (one in each hand) in DDO. I understand that feat "two weapon fighting" only cover fighting wield one heavy weapon and one light weapon (long sword and a dagger). If I want to fight wielding two long swords without penalties I understand I need feat "Oversized Two Weapon Fighting". I am getting ready to to level-up a few characters with plans to take feat "Oversized Two Weapon Fighting", but was doing research on DDO wiki when I found this...
http://ddowiki.com/page/Two_Weapon_Fighting
"If the off-hand weapon is light, the penalties both decrease by another 2 points, down to -2/-2 (instead of -4/-8 without this feat). For wielders of non-light weapons, Oversized Two Weapon Fighting is recommended to bring their attack penalty down to -2/-2. "

"This feat is recommended for dual wielders of non-light weapons but has been recently mitigated by the prevalence of Accuracy items as well as changes to combat."
What does that mean?
Does this mean that with all the game updates/changes done to DDO over last 10 years, taking "Oversized Two Weapon Fighting" is now a wasted feat slot on a character?
My goal is to fight wielding two long swords and/or two kama (or a mix of long sword and kama) and a long sword and a scepter at same time. Why? Because; it looks cool to me and "i think" it increases the damage per second the character can deliver to a target.
My characters are;
All input is welcome. Thx.

My characters are;
- Paladin who already has "Two Weapon Fighting".
- Monk who already has feats; Weapon Focus: Slashing, Whirling Steel Strike, and Two Weapon Fighting and enchantment Ninja training.
- Warlock (Enlightened Spirit) that I want to fight with long sword and scepter who already has feat "Two Weapon Fighting".
All input is welcome. Thx.
