Returning DDO player here... AC has apparently changed since I left, but I need some help understanding what the changes mean in application/gameplay. If I roll a bard with 10 or 12 STR and don't take weapon finesse and don't take power attack, will I have problems hitting tougher mobs later on? Should I consider weapon finesse or maybe raise my STR to keep from gimping my to-hit? Back in my day, if you rolled a character with just 10 or 12 STR, you would most definitely have problems landing hits end-game. Random hearsay on this forum though suggests this is no longer the case, even in elite Epics. It's hard for me to wrap my mind around though.
