Riding the Storm Out - Spoiler Warning
Warning: Spoilers!
Credits to my guildies Tone, Tes, Eth and all the others who helped with feedback. This is just a refreshed guide that we had from Lamannia. Hope you all enjoy it and help you understand the raid better! And off course, many thanks to SSG and Torc for bringing this raid up. Great work!
Disclaimer: The guide may not be 100% accurate, and is based only on our current experience with the raid and its mechanics.
About the raid now, some few notable areas are:
-Entrance - at the bottom of the map
-Arena - the center of the main area at base level
-Dragon's platform - situated in the center of arena, top floor
-Gardens, surrounding the arena
The main area with the gardens - special thanks to Tes for this
Monsters:
-Forgotten Stormborn - respawning orange named giant skelly melee
-Forgotten Storm Priest - respawning orange named giant skelly mage
-Forgotten Storm Thrall - respawning giant skelly archer
-Storm Fury - air elemental, respawning on the dragon platform; also spawn in SW gardens
-Forgotten Storm King - giant skelly red named at base floor level
-Greater Storm Fury - red named air elemental spawning on platform only on elite difficulty
-Kor Kaza - blue dragon boss on the top floor platform
Multiple puzzles:
-2 to start with and to open up a door to the main area
-6 more in the arena - they open up the seal surrounding the dragon at the beginning of the raid and turn on the air jet squares in the arena
-14 more in the gardens - making the dragon come back for the final beat-down
Control Towers aka Charge Towers or Pillars are found in the gardens and are used to open up gates leading either to other Control Towers and eventually to puzzles. Identifying is easy as they are shaped with 3 small runes on them and a normal rune (tower rune on the map) at its base.
The raid breaks down in 3 phases
Other notable facts:
Notable Bugs
